Course Overview & Prerequisites

Pre-requisites: A solid foundation in financial statement preparation (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) and basic familiarity with accounting concepts, ledger closing entries, and financial analysis tools.

Course Summary: This course aims to equip students with the practical skills and conceptual knowledge necessary to apply management accounting principles in various organizational contexts. It explores four core analytical dimensions: Financial Statement Analysis (Comparative, Common Size, Trend), Ratio Analysis, Fund Flow & Cash Flow Analysis, and Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) / Marginal Costing analysis for managerial decision engineering.
