Course Summary & Pedagogical Objective

This course provides an in-depth exploration of financial markets and the crucial role played by intermediaries in facilitating the flow of funds and managing financial transactions. Students gain rigorous exposure to the institutional architecture of the Indian financial system, capital issue management and book building, credit rating systems, asset securitization, mutual fund and venture capital operations, receivables financing (factoring and forfaiting), equipment leasing, and hire purchase agreements.
